What's better than relationship?

The Holy Writings make the obvious point, "How good it is when brothers dwell together in unity!"

Is there anything in life better than a great relationship? The 3.5 have heard me say a bunch of times that relationship has always existed within the character of God himself (that's why we're trinitarians)--the Father, Son and Spirit have eternally coexisted in relationship to one another. We were made for relationship with God, and with each other.

So I'm planning to do a series of short blogs (would that be blogettes?) on relationship being deeper than (fill in the blank).

So help me create the list...what are the obstacles of relationships today? What attacks our willingness to spend time--real or virtual--with people?

Stay tuned.

Our own ego and wanting it all be our own idea or wanting to be sure you get the credit you deserve, especially when it turns out great. Then there's always money, sex, family. So many things can take over our lives and affect our relationship. But mostly we just want to be in our little world and not let people in unless it is our idea.I happen to be married to someone who is very comfortable with being by themselves...at any time.People just don't spend time with friends anymore.I love to take the time to check on friends or family.I can remember someone coming home with us after church all those years ago after the Sunday service for dinner. Now we're in a hurry to get home and be alone.I love people.
